So of course in the midst of all this activity Brea got a little confused and had her first "You're Not My Mamma" experience.
We stopped into a bakery before the playdate and after the bank to pick up some morsels of yumminess and some baby buns (mini croissants) for Brea. She was examining the deli meat while I waited in line to pay when I popped out of line to grab one more thing. I returned to the line to find my daughter hugging the leg of a stranger. I had to lean down and say "Brea, that's not your mama" before she realized - it was a very good hug. She wasn't too perterbed, she just gave me a look that said, "how did you get there when I'm hugging you?" Meanwhile, the lady was shocked and very flattered and the whole store thought it was just the "cutest" thing ever.
