On the move!

Goin' for a stroll.

Brea had her first band-aid yesterday :o( It was a casualty from her new-found mobility. We had to take a splinter out of her little foot. Furniture walking is no longer a novel thing and Brea has taken to her shopping cart like nobodies business. She loves being on the road walking next to Daddy like a "big" girl. We started on the deck with short distances and now she's off on the road!

Experimenting on the deck.

On the road!

Our happy shopper.

Sportin' cool shades with Daddy.

We celebrated Christmas in July yesterday too. In the Park where we're staying they have a wonderful get-together in July where you bring a gift for the town's Toy Bank and celebrate with turkey, ham and plenty of other goodies. Brea's Nana started it a few years ago and it's been going strong since. The people who came to collect the toys said that the best toys always come from this celebration :o) Brea took her stroller and had a great time! There was a chocolate fountain for dessert and the kids LOVED it (I loved it too!). There were plenty of chocolate covered faces running around in the sun. Brea so wants to be a BIG girl. While she was walking with her shopping cart, a few girls (7-8 year olds) walked by and Brea raced after them, she was so delighted when they stopped to talk to her - she hugged and kissed them! They were wonderful with her too. I think she misses visiting with her baby friends.

These videos are VERY priceless! What a fun push cart Brea has...it looks really steady for her.

I adore the first video when you can see Brea working so hard - and she is showing her beeee-u-tiful tongue, too!

Go, Brea, GO!!!!

how cute is little miss?

for any more splinters which hurt poor baby rub some ivory or dove soap on a bandaid and apply to skin.*my mum's tip*something about the soap softening it up.
